The Mazda CX-60 PHEV will be the most powerful road Mazda ever when it arrives in Australia in the first half of 2023. The flagship SUV will debut new electrified powertrains right across the range, including a new plug-in hybrid powertrain, two mild-hybrid powertrains, and all-wheel drive as standard. The CX-60 will feature a 2.5-litre inline four-cylinder petrol engine with a 100kW electric motor, with a total system output rated at 241kW and 500Nm. The vehicle will also have an all EV driving range of around 63kms. Mazda Australia Managing Director, Vinesh Bhindi, describes the CX-60 as a “whole new chapter for Mazda” and “authentically premium vehicle” with a high level of anticipation surrounding its release.
