AutoExec Summary
Fuel pumps at Australian petrol stations are filled by large tanker trucks from underground tanks. When you pull up at a bowser, it is pre-activated and has separate fuel pipes and nozzles for each offering. The fuel will stop flowing when the tip of the nozzle is submerged in the fuel coming back up the filler pipe. Some stations are pre-paid and refund the difference if the amount of fuel put into the vehicle is worth less than what was drawn from the account.
