MG is making a comeback in the sports car market with the Cyberster and has unveiled an electric hypercar concept, the EXE181, at the Beijing motor show. The EXE181 is inspired by the record-setting EX181 from 1959 and is designed to reach a top speed of 415km/h with a 0-100km/h time of under one second. The concept will be showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July. The original EX181 used a supercharged 1.5-litre engine and was driven by Phil Hill to set a speed record of 410.5km/h in 1959.
