AutoExec Summary
The 2024 Tesla Cybertruck has been upgraded with new off-road modes just a few months after its introduction. The new modes, called overland and Baja, are designed to help navigate rocky, slippery, snowy, and sandy terrain, as well as to allow for fast off-road driving. The Cybertruck also features a new Wade mode for traversing deep water, as well as the ability to virtually lock the front or rear differential using the braking system. Other new tech includes Trail Assist for off-road cruise control, Slippery Surface function for improved traction, and a new software for the adaptive suspension. Additionally, there is a new mode for leveling the body over uneven terrain for camping. While it’s not known if the Cybertruck will be available in Australia, a left-hand drive version is currently touring NSW, sparking speculation about a potential right-hand drive adaptation.
