The Genesis X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo (VGT) Concept was revealed at the 2024 Busan International Mobility Show (BIMOS) in South Korea. It is part of Genesis’ new ‘Magma’ performance models designed to rival Mercedes-AMG and BMW M Division. The concept features a mid-engine V6 with 1119kW, a distinctive Magma paintwork, trapezoidal front grille, and a large carbon-fibre rear wing. The powertrain is a 3.3-litre Lambda II V6 petrol-hybrid capable of 1148kW and 1425Nm. Genesis also plans to develop a high-performance Magma edition of every model in its current line-up. The car maker is believed to be working on an actual electric sports car for production based on the X Trilogy concepts.
