AutoExec Summary
Ineos Automotive has postponed the launch of its upcoming Fusilier electric SUV due to weak consumer demand for electric vehicles and industry uncertainty regarding tariffs and regulations. The Fusilier was initially planned for a 2027 release and was set to be Ineos’ smallest offering, featuring both electric and range-extender models. The delay was also attributed to the lack of charging infrastructure and consumer confidence in EVs. The brand did not provide a new launch timeline. The UK Labour Party’s victory in the election could reinstate a 2030 ban on combustion-powered vehicles. The Fusilier is being developed in partnership with Magna and is expected to offer world-class off-road capability.
