AutoExec Summary
All new cars sold in Europe and the UK from July 7, 2024 must have speed limiters to warn or prevent drivers from exceeding the speed limit, using GPS and traffic sign data. Different levels of feedback are available, but the system can be overridden by pressing the throttle or turned off by the driver. Australia is considering introducing similar regulations. California is also exploring the idea of implementing ISAs, but with a more lenient trigger.
