BMW’s luxurious performance sub-brand Alpina has released pricing for the updated B3 sedan and wagon, and B4 four-door coupe ahead of their Australian arrival. The B3 Sedan and Touring, and B4 Gran Coupe have increased in price compared to their predecessors and are now more expensive than equivalent BMW M models. Priced at $181,900 before on-road costs for the B3 GT Sedan, $184,900 for the B3 GT Touring (wagon), and $189,900 for the B4 GT Gran Coupe, the 2024 models are $21,910, $22,000, and $25,000 pricier than before. The Alpina models feature an updated shock absorber tune for “pronounced ride comfort and composure” and a power increase. Acceleration times have been cut, making them quicker than the M3 Competition xDrive Sedan and Touring. Top speed in the Alpina trio is also lifted by 3km/h, hitting 308km/h for the sedan, and 305km/h for the Touring and Gran Coupe.
