The Mazda EZ-6 electric or PHEV sedan is confirmed for Europe and may come to Australia if a right-hand drive version is created. It replaces the Mazda 6 in China and will be sold in Europe through an export deal with its joint-venture partner, Changan Mazda. The rear-wheel drive EZ-6, based on the Deepal SL03 sedan, was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show and will launch in China and Europe in the autumn. Mazda is considering selling the EZ-6 in the UK, but plans for Australia are unclear. The successor to the Mazda 6 will offer up to 600km of electric range.
