AutoExec Summary
A new 50kW electric vehicle (EV) fast charger is being added at the Yalata Roadhouse Caravan Park to help drivers charge more easily while crossing the Nullarbor between Adelaide and Perth. The upgrade is a partnership between the Royal Automobile Association (RAA) and Chargefox, with the support of the South Australian Government. This new charging site will bridge the gap between existing facilities at Ceduna and the Western Australia border, providing a much-needed solution for EV drivers travelling along the far west coast. Currently, the nearest charging site after crossing the South Australian border is located 197km away in Western Australia.
