February 2024 was a record-breaking month for new car deliveries in Australia, with 105,023 vehicles sold, marking a 20.9% increase from February 2023. Sales grew across all states and territories, with significant boosts in SUV, ute, and van segments, as well as small and mid-sized passenger cars. Electric vehicle sales surged by 70.4%, while hybrid sales more than doubled. Toyota led in sales, followed by Mazda and Ford.
