The new Ford Mustang, unveiled in the US almost two years ago, has finally been delivered to Australian customers. The first 2024 Mustang ‘S650’ deliveries were made in late July, after being unveiled in Detroit in 2022. Prices start at $64,990 for the EcoBoost Fastback automatic and $77,002 for the manual GT Fastback. A limited run of the Dark Horse variant is also available. The EcoBoost model features a 2.3-litre turbocharged engine, while the GT model boasts a 5.0-litre V8. The Dark Horse variant has a power bump to 349kW. The new Mustang arrived in Australia 17 months after its debut in the Supercars Championship.
