MG 4 loses nationwide drive-away pricing, but receives price cut

The entry-level Excite 51 now starts at $37,990, while the XPower is priced at $55,990. MG’s website has not been updated with the new prices, which may vary by state. Despite being more expensive, the MG 4 was the fifth best-selling EV in the first half of 2024. All new non-commercial MGs purchased from August 1 will come with a 10-year, 250,000km warranty, the most comprehensive in Australia. Commercial vehicles have a seven-year or 160,000km warranty. Other affordable EVs include the BYD Dolphin and MG ZS EV Excite.
