AutoExec Summary
Toyota has applied to trademark the name “LandCruiser FJ” in Australia for a mini-LandCruiser expected to be unveiled before the end of the year. The new 4WD is rumored to be roughly the same size as the Toyota Corolla Cross but taller, and may be a petrol-hybrid instead of diesel. It could be fitted with a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine, with a 1500kg towing capacity. Toyota is also considering monocoque versions that would expand the LandCruiser nameplate into more soft-roader territory.
Brands mentioned: Toyota, LandRover, Nissan, Chevrolet
