Peugeot Australia has confirmed that the new third-generation 3008 will arrive in the second half of this year, with the pure electric E-3008 leading the way. The mid-size SUV will be offered in zero-emissions form, featuring the Stellantis Group’s ‘STLA Medium’ electric powertrain. The E-3008 will be available in Allure and GT grades, and will offer a choice of three electric powertrains. The car will come with a 157kW single-motor standard-range version, a 171kW single-motor long-range version, and a 239kW dual-motor AWD model. Charging capacity options will include 11kW and 22kW for AC and up to 160kW for DC. The car will also offer V2L capability and a 520-litre boot space. The E-3008 will also come with a 21-inch panoramic screen and standard safety features such as adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist. Pricing and range are yet to be finalized in Australia, but the car is expected to be competitive with other electric vehicles in the market.
