Mazda Australia has recalled 860 diesel variants of its CX-60 and CX-90 SUVs due to a software issue in the transmission control module. This issue may prevent power transmission when the accelerator pedal is depressed, increasing the risk of accidents. Owners will be contacted for a free repair at their nearest service centre. This isn’t the first recall for Mazda, as previous issues with the CX-60 e-SkyActiv plug-in hybrid and ride comfort have also been addressed.
