Paul: We decided to switch to an electric car to replace our old Land Rover Discovery Sport. After considering the Volvo XC40 and Polestar 2, we chose the C40 as it combines the best of both. The SUV height and coupe styling suited us, though my wife has bumped her head due to the lower roof. Living in Sydney with trips to Mittagong, the C40’s range is sufficient, and we installed 7kW wallbox chargers at both locations. Despite some public charging issues, I’m happy with the car’s 18.3kWh/100km usage. I love the smooth power and one-pedal driving. The Google tech is handy, but Apple CarPlay could be better. The rear hatch needs a wiper. Overall, we’re thrilled with our C40 and the move to electric.
