AutoExec Summary

I bought my Golf MK5 GTI after someone crashed into and wrote off my old Toyota Celica. With a budget of $5000, I needed something fast, cool, small, automatic, and practical. This car ticked all the boxes: full leather interior, electric mirrors, heated seats, touchscreen sat-nav, AC, and automatic wipers. Despite being from 2005, it’s far more practical than my family’s Jaguar XJ. With plentiful and cheap spare parts, I’ve modded and tuned it extensively. The only downside is fuel economy, averaging 20mpg. After five years, it’s never let me down, except once due to a failing battery. Overall, it’s the best daily driver.

Brands mentioned: Volkswagen, Toyota, Jaguar
