Despite being unveiled in 2020 and on sale elsewhere since 2021, it hasn’t yet reached Australian roads or showrooms. This is surprising given Nissan’s pioneering role with the Leaf. However, the Ariya is set to make a significant impact in Australia’s growing electric car market. With good sales volume expected, it could rival the Tesla Model Y. We tested the UK model and found it impressive, featuring a modern interior and a variety of powertrains. Australian specifications are pending, but the Ariya shows great promise.
