AutoExec Summary: After three months of driving the 2024 GWM Tank 300, including off-roading and camping, we conclude our long-term review. The Tank 300, from China’s GWM, offers excellent value and off-road capability. It seats five and features a part-time four-wheel-drive system with a low-range transfer case. The high-spec Ultra model includes locking differentials and a non-hybrid 2.0-litre turbo engine. While its build quality impressed us, issues like low payload and braking performance are concerning. Despite these flaws, the Tank 300 is a capable off-roader with a seven-year warranty, offering peace of mind.

Brands mentioned: GWM, Jeep, Mercedes-Benz, LandCruiser, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Ford, Suzuki
