AutoExec Summary
Vonnen, a start-up company, has developed aftermarket hybrid kits for Porsche 911 sports cars, claiming to substantially boost performance. These kits, which include a 150 horsepower electric motor, 1.0kWh battery pack, and power invertor, cost over $100,000 and add 77kg to the car. The kits also offer four driving modes and can be controlled via a smartphone app. Developed by a former NASA and Tesla employee, the kits can be installed on left- and right-hand drive cars and can be fitted to certain 911 and Boxster models. Early reviews are positive, but Porsche is also working on a hybrid system for its 911.

Brands mentioned: Porsche, Tesla, Mercedes, Vonnen, NASA
