UK’s biggest home EV charger wants Australian OEM partners

Ohme has ambitions to replicate its UK success here. But unlike the UK, it has no OEM partnerships… yet!

UK's largest home EV charging company has landed in Australia – and it wants to talk to you.

In the UK, Ohme (pronounced oh-mee) supplies the home charger for one in every four BEV cars sold. It's the official charging partner for Volkswagen Group, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Hyundai, Suzuki, and XPENG. Last month, 20 car manufacturers in Britain included a home EV charger with every new car. Ohme manufactured and fitted most of them.

In Australia, after 18 months in-market, Ohme has precisely zero OEM partnerships. That's not a criticism. It's a pitch.
