Denza Australia boss, Mark Harland, is betting experiential luxury can take on tradition and win. And an impressive early order take suggests he could be right.

Australian premium buyers love heritage – and a German badge. Newcomer Denza has neither. Indeed, the BYD offshoot’s cupboards are bare of the decades of carefully cultivated mythology brands like Mercedes-Benz and BMW trade upon.
